"Two Tickets to Paradise"
Born in Southern California to a musician and an artist, raised in the Mid-Willamette Valley, and grown amongst concerts and creativity, I like to think that I had humble beginnings.
My DIY passion exploded in the early 2000's in Corvallis, Oregon alongside my best friends. As we grew up experiencing the world through the lens of a broke indie band organizing/promoting/running live events, endless recording, hundreds of shows, self-booked tours, and unforgettable friendships, we learned that sometimes the best way to do things is on your own.
While the dreams of becoming a pop-punk rockstar fizzled out in my early 20's, I'm still hooked on my favorite bands and find new live music as often as possible. However, we have completely lost part of the concert-going experience that gripped us a generation ago.
Enter DIY ticket stubs. This project has evolved from my love of live music, physical media, digital design, indie marketing, nostalgia, and resurrecting those little parts of ourselves that make us feel tangibly alive.
While still playing in a failing punk band, I am joined by my amazing partner Grey, as we strive to bring physical tickets back to the people... no matter what TicketFather says.
